Why Sandals South Coast?
It’s a spectacular all inclusive resort alongside a 2 mile beach, in the beautiful country of Jamaica.
We want all of our guests to be able to explore, relax, and unwind to your heart’s desire! No worries: all food and drinks are included, along with many other perks and activities. Refer to the website for more details: https://www.sandals.com/south-coast/
What events do I need to attend?
We will have a 1 hour welcome party on May 9th at 6pm in the courtyard. Drinks and small hors d’oeuvres will be served. This is optional, but all are welcome! Details to follow.

The ceremony will be on May 10th, beginning promptly at 3pm in the garden, followed immediately by the cocktail hour, and reception. Details to follow.

Anything else is up to you! Sandals South Coast boasts many included activities, including kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, and many more! There are also many excursions you may book at additional cost, refer to the Sandals South Coast website for more info.
Can I bring a plus one?
Yes! Sandals South Coast requires two guests per room, with limited exceptions for a single occupant in a room, and not guaranteed to be permitted. In addition, the resort charges double occupancy, meaning it’s the same rate whether you room alone or with another person, so we highly recommend it!
Do I need to stay at Sandals South Coast?
Yes! Only guests staying at Sandals South Coast are guaranteed access to the ceremony per resort regulations.
————————————————————————————————————
We recommend everyone submit your deposit (fully refundable) to hold your room ASAP, as selections and availability are not guaranteed. Refer to the 'travel' tab for more details. To book, please reach out to our travel advisor, Heather Hunker (h.hunker@mmvagent.com).
Are children allowed at the resort?
While we would love to have everyone attend our Jamaica wedding celebration, Sandals South Coast is an adult’s only resort, 18+.
When do I need to RSVP by?
We kindly request all RVSPs be completed by October 15th.
What do I need to bring?
Don’t forget your passport! Passports must be valid for 6 months from the return date of travel. Renewals can take a few months, so we highly suggest you renew ASAP if needed.
Additionally, Sandals South Coast is located in a nature preserve. As there are areas with sea grass that are a habitat to sea urchins, it is recommended you bring water shoes if you will be in those locations to protect your feet.
What if I can’t come to Jamaica?
No problem! We will be having a small celebration in Ohio, and we would love to have you join us to celebrate! Details still to come.
Do I need to give a gift?
We are so grateful for the time and effort you are making to join us in celebration, so please, no gifts!
If you still would like to give, contribution towards our honeymoon is greatly appreciated.
What is the dress code?
Beach cocktail attire; think ‘tropical in spring’! We welcome you to bring out your colorful, vibrant side to match the beachy vibes.
————————————————————————————————————
We kindly ask the women to refrain from wearing white, ivory, or cream colored attire. Men, light colored suits or shirts with casual or dress shoes is great. Feel free to leave ties at home! Please avoid jeans, shorts, and other casual clothing for the ceremony and reception.
————————————————————————————————————
The ceremony and reception will both be held outdoors. Weather in Jamaica in May is typically warm, with highs being around 84 degrees & lows around 70 degrees.
